Impact100 Mobile’s Annual Meeting delivered the kind of energy that fills a room before anyone even picks up a ballot.

The group’s members, gathered to celebrate another year of collective giving, cast their votes and sent two standout nonprofits home with $75,000 each.

That’s $150,000 flowing straight back into Mobile County, which feels like the kind of momentum that lifts everyone nearby.

Two Organizations Making a Daily Difference

Prichard Preparatory School took home one of the grants, and the cheers that followed made it clear how much people believe in the school’s mission.

The campus serves students in grades PK through 5, creating structure, stability, and opportunity for young learners.

Families often talk about the sense of possibility they feel on that campus. A boost like this fuels more supplies, more support, and more moments where kids see themselves succeeding.

Feeding the Gulf Coast received the second award, and their team shared what this kind of support means.

They operate as a key food bank in South Alabama, and their work has taken on an even heavier load since SNAP benefits were paused for 750,000 Alabamians.

Trucks, volunteers, distribution days, neighborhood partnerships, and pantry shelves all depend on consistent resources.

A grant like this helps them push forward with confidence.

What This Kind of Investment Sparks

The night’s announcement created a ripple of excitement.

When residents see a school helping kids gain strong footing or a food bank increasing access to everyday essentials, that creates a stronger sense of shared direction.

Programs expand. More families feel supported. Children feel encouraged. Neighborhoods feel steadier.

Even small shifts make a difference. A few more books in a classroom. A few more meals delivered to a home that needs them.

A few more local partnerships born out of these wins. It all adds up to an atmosphere of growth.

The Power of Collective Giving

Impact100 Mobile continues to build something impressive.

Every member contributes, every dollar goes directly to nonprofits, and the repeated rhythm of showing up year after year keeps strengthening the community.

The group’s approach proves that pooled giving creates real, measurable change.

You can feel it in the energy of these events and in the stories the nonprofits share afterward.

There’s joy in seeing people link arms for something bigger than themselves.

It makes award nights feel less like ceremonies and more like celebrations of what’s possible.

Looking Ahead With Optimism

Both Prichard Preparatory School and Feeding the Gulf Coast shared their gratitude and their plans to keep serving Mobile County with even greater reach.

More learning opportunities. More meals distributed. More families supported. More hope.

When an area backs organizations like these, new ideas surface and momentum follows. It feels good to watch that kind of growth unfold.

And with Impact100 Mobile fueling this forward motion, there’s no doubt the positive energy will continue shaping the year ahead.
