Spot of Tea

A classic brunch spot here in the Port City of Mobile! Located right in the heart of LoDa, Spot of Tea serves breakfast, lunch and Sunday Brunch! Known for their delicious menu, there is something for everyone! From traditional breakfast options such as waffles, eggs benedict and omelets to soups and salads such as their ham and cheddar melt, monte cristo and cajun tomato bisque, the food will not disappoint. Don’t forget to check out their famous strawberry iced tea!

The Blind Mule

The perfect spot for outdoor patio dining and great deals on bloody marys and mimosas! The Blind Mule is located in downtown Mobile and has a menu full of delicious brunch items! Whether you’re in the mood for a classic plate of Shrimp and Grits or if you want to try their Avocado fries (YUM!), The Blind Mule has something for you!

Bob’s Downtown

Between the old-timey ambiance of a classic diner and the tasty menu, Bob’s Downtown is a Mobile favorite for the locals! They have something for everyone from french toast to burgers and you will always enjoy your time here! You definitely will not leave the “corner of fat and happy” disappointed!

Ashland Midtown Pub

Home of the Sunday Jazz Brunch and home of Mimo’s Benedict AKA two homemade crab cakes topped with poached eggs and Ashland’s crawfish creole sauce served with grilled Conecuh sausage and Gouda cheese grits. If your mouth wasn’t already watering, it is now! Did you know they have a mimosa and poinsettia refills for one penny?!

The August House

Located on Old Shell Road, The August House has a brunch menu that does not compare! Whether you’re a vegetarian or you like your bacon, they have something just for you! Pair their signature shrimp and grits or chicken and waffles with a glass of some bubbly for the perfect brunch meal!

Maple Street Biscuit Company

The newest spot to hit the Mobile area, it is located on Old Shell Road near the University of South Alabama. Maple Street is known for their ginormous, fresh, homemade biscuits! Whether you’re in the mood for a chicken biscuit or other traditional Southern Style menu items such as sausage gravy and biscuits, you will surely find something that will keep you coming back for more! Fun Fact: Their “Squawking Goat” biscuit was featured on The Food Network!

Build your own bloody marys…shall I say more? We know it’s not all about the drinks, their food is delicious too! It is filled with brunch favorites such as breakfast tacos, eggs benedict and the Killer Creole Omelette. Brick and Spoon also has a delightful lunch menu if that’s what you’re going for!
