An Alabama foster kitten is turning heads — twice.
Meet Dobby, a 7-month-old black kitten with an extra set of ear flaps that look like a smaller pair sitting right behind the originals. It’s a rare genetic quirk, and it’s made him an instant internet favorite.

Stephanie Brown, who’s fostering Dobby through Kitty Kat Haven and Rescue, says the bonus ears don’t cause any issues. His hearing is normal, and he’s otherwise a healthy, playful kitten — aside from a short, curly tail that adds even more character.
Photos and videos of Dobby quickly took off on Instagram and Reddit, with fans falling for his one-of-a-kind look.
He’ll need a small surgery to fix an overbite, but after that, Dobby will be ready for adoption.
Two sets of ears. One very adoptable personality.
