Wet Willie’s + Wasabi Sushi & Noodles (Our Experience)

For our A – Z Eating Project, we had eaten at a “W” restaurant so long ago, that we forgot we already had one.

So you guys get a BOGO!

Let’s start with Wet Willie’s

It’s in the heart of Downtown Mobile (at the corner of Bienville Square).

The murals inside this place are pretty dang cool.

And if you’re a daiquiri fan (admittedly, we are not), you’ll be in daiquiri heaven.

Looking at the menu, I can’t say I was impressed by what I saw.

When I think of the term ‘bar food’ that’s what the menu represented.

In Wet Willie’s defense, it is, in fact, a bar.

But…

The tastiness of what we got was actually pretty surprising!

It passed the Brooks-Seal-Of-Approval

But this is a BOGO we’re talking about here.

So let’s move on to…

Wasabi Sushi & Noodles

We actually ordered takeout from here back before we moved.

Here’s the spread we got.

Well, that and this crab rangoon (equally delish).

Wasabi is located at 3654 Airport Blvd, Mobile, AL 36608

It’s been there quite some time!

Years back, we ordered sushi rice from there, as we had a friend who had just caught fresh tuna and came over to roll some sushi.

Wasabi is still going as strong as ever!
