New Businesses Opening in Mobile in 2020

This year, Alabama hit a record low in unemployment as the state now supplies the economy with over 2.1 million jobs! And the growth doesn’t stop there as businesses continue to move to Mobile. Here are some of the businesses already announced to be opening in the new year.
Bar-B-Quing With My Honey

The owners of Bar-B-Quing With My Honey, previously located in Mt. Vernon, AL, have just recently bought a $3.8 million warehouse in Theodore as a new location for their business! The goal of Bar-B-Quing With My Honey was to bring in fellow southerners and give them a better menu, better service and the knowledge that they are appreciated. They plan to hire around 10 employees to help run the location. The restaurant decided to relocate after hearing “about how Mobile’s business scene is booming.” Known for their soulful BBQ and seafood, we cannot wait to try out Bar-B-Quing With My Honey!

Pink Post Office Boutique

One of the newest retailers in Mobile, the Pink Post Office Boutique, is now moving to a new location! With some of the cutest styles, the Pink Post Office Boutique quickly outgrew its old location and is now moving down the road to occupy the space at 6207 Cottage Hill Road. PPOB is one of Mobile’s fastest-growing retailers, and continues to prove why as they sell apparel everyone loves! They have two locations here on the Gulf Coast: one in Mobile and another in Daphne. Make sure to stop by there on your next shopping spree and see the newly expanded store!

SpreadRite, LLC

Tim Herrington of Herrington Realty recently reported that the company SpreadRite, LLC recently purchased a warehouse and offices in Foley! SpreadRite, LLC is a company dedicated to providing environmental services to everyone who may need it, including contractors, engineers and environmental groups. They even offer consulting to make sure projects are in compliance with state and federal laws. SpreadRite, LLC is trying to ensure a safe environment in a world that is becoming more polluted by the minute. With them opening a location on the Gulf Coast our environment might get a little cleaner!

Fairhope Airport and Gulf Shores Jack Edwards National Airport

Regency Hangers, a New Orleans-based firm that focuses on hanger community developments, has been approved to develop a large hanger community at Fairhope Airport and Gulf Shores Jack Edwards National Airport! These communities will be set up along the same lines as homeowners associations. Regency Hangers will handle all infrastructure and operating requirements, and hope that each hanger will be individually owned as they have already been put up for pre-construction purchase. We can’t wait to see what new airlines will soon be flying out of the Gulf Coast!

PitStop Carwash

PitStop Carwash is quickly growing into one of the most popular car washes on the Gulf Coast and, continuing on that success, they’ll be opening a new location in 2020 in Foley at the old Reynolds Ace Hardware lumber yard! Founded in 2005, PitStop Carwash now has four locations and are opening two more: one in Foley and Robertsdale. PitStop has made a promise to give you the most complete car wash services for almost 15 years and each of their locations always has wonderful service and get the job done quickly and easily.

We can’t wait to see what else 2020 brings. We wish each business opening or relocating the best of luck. We will definitely be stopping by! Have a happy holiday season and a wonderful 2020 and remember to always shop local!
