Fairhope Brewing Company, based in Baldwin County and on our list of top Alabama breweries, is expanding its presence with The Wingman, an experimental pop-up tasting room set to open in Downtown Mobile.
Remember a bit ago when we wrote this article sharing that Majestic Brewery was closing?
The WingMan pop-up tasting room is coming!
(No, as far as we know, it has nothing to do with Top Gun, but they dang sure better have Kenny Loggins’ Danger Zone blaring when we walk in!)
This new venture will focus on innovative beer and seltzer concepts, pushing the boundaries of flavor profiles.
While Fairhope Brewing’s popular beers like Take the Causeway IPA and Cheap Sunglasses Golden Ale will be available at The Wingman, the spotlight will be on their seltzers and flavored sour ales.
These unique styles will be brewed on-site at the new location, located at 656 St. Louis Street in downtown Mobile.
Head brewer Jacob Sellers is excited about the fresh approach, emphasizing original flavors that have received a positive response in recent years, such as Blue Steel (blueberry lemon sour ale) and Pink Delicious (pink lemonade hard seltzer).
The Wingman aims to take these creative styles to new heights, offering a distinctive experience with each pour.
The Wingman’s interactive model allows for experimentation and guest feedback, potentially leading to wider distribution of popular offerings.
The venue, slated to open in early 2024, offers indoor and outdoor seating and welcomes private event reservations. While it won’t have a kitchen, patrons can bring their own food or order delivery.
