Founded in 1987, NAMI Mobile is a branch of the National Alliance on Mental Illness.
NAMI aims to help people and families impacted by mental illness through advocacy, educating, assistance, and raising awareness.
There is hope and help for individuals with a severe mental illness or a beloved one who does, and NAMI members are here to support those in need.
NAMI aids people with mental illnesses and their families by offering education and support programs.
As a volunteer-run organization, NAMI Mobile provides all its services free of charge.
This year, NAMIWalks Mobile is supporting the local NAMI Care Fund, which offers critical dental and medical assistance to those living with a severe mental illness in the area.
NAMI gave out nearly $40,000 in financial assistance last year.

Medal of Honor Park will host the 2022 NAMIWalks Mobile on Saturday, April 23rd.
It is a family-friendly event that includes music, food, and kid-friendly activities.
