Brianna Burrell took the crown as Miss Alabama 2023!
Hailing from Mobile, she rocked the stage at Samford University and beat out 40 other talented contestants to claim the title.
It’s a big win for her, and she’s walking away with a cool $15,000 cash scholarship.
Way to go, Brianna!
During the competition, Brianna wowed the judges with her amazing talent and evening gown.
She’s a graduate of the University of South Alabama, where she studied Political Science.
Talk about brains and beauty.
The Miss Alabama competition is more than just a beauty pageant, though.
With a dynamic history spanning nearly 100 years, this not-for-profit organization has been a shining example of empowering college women to achieve their ambitions.
In a time of inadequate funding for education, the mission of the Miss Alabama program is more critical than ever.
And Brianna’s journey doesn’t end here.
She is set to represent Alabama in the upcoming Miss America competition.
And aside from her pageant duties, Brianna is passionate about making a difference in her community.
She already started working on her own initiative called “SAVE-A-STEM.”
Its goal is to encourage students in underfunded schools and minority students to explore the exciting world of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
It’s all about inspiring the next generation of bright minds!
And let’s not forget Lindsay Fincher, Miss Alabama 2022.
She’s a graduate of the University of Alabama and had competed in the pageant twice before.
She made a significant impact through her program called “Catalyst: Arts for All,” which aimed to expose Alabaman students to the art community.
These remarkable young women remind us that the Miss Alabama program is about much more than looks and glamour.
It’s a platform for awareness, empowerment, and making a difference!
