The spirit of Jag Nation is soaring high, and the campus is buzzing with the excitement of fresh faces.

Now, let’s talk about the unsung heroes of this huge move-in operation — the 600+ volunteers.

They’re going to be meeting the first-year students and the returning ones to help them get settled.

That’s a whole lot of campus camaraderie right there!

This year isn’t just about beginnings; it’s also about honoring the past of this school.

The freshmen are thrilled to be joining a legacy of students who’ve walked its halls, carved their paths, and left their mark.

There’s going to be a convocation event on Monday at 11 a.m. in the Mitchell Center.

It’s the perfect way to jumpstart an incredible academic year ahead.

And to all you nervous freshmen out there, take a deep breath and relax!

Remember, the University of South Alabama isn’t just a place of learning; it’s a community eager to welcome you with open arms.

So, here’s to conquering those nerves, making new friends, and diving headfirst into this new chapter!
