Heads up road warriors!
Streets are going to be closed as the city is gearing up for some rehabilitation work on Ann St. This project will leave a portion of the road between Virginia Street and Tennessee Street closed for several months.
I know that sounds like extra travel time for some, but these improvements will ultimately help water move through the system more efficiently during heavy rain events.

Join the Mobile Public Library for an exciting outdoor program Tails & Tales Summer Reading Celebration Nine teams from across the United States — including the host Alabama Rawdogs — will join the island nation of Curacao to determine the best 16 to 18-year-old team in the Babe Ruth World Series.
08/03: Rubber Ducky Regatta
Tuesday @ 10:00 am – 12:00 pm, Cooper-Riverside Park
Mobile’s annual Rubber Ducky Regatta will make a splash on August 3, 2021, by dropping thousands of rubber duckies into the Mobile River.
08/05: Sweet Summer Series: Weekly Pop-Up Performances
Thursday @ 6:30 pm – 7:30 pm, Cathedral Square
Join us every Thursday of the summer for the Sweet Summer Series! Each week will feature a local performance group for a free event in Cathedral Square. Bring a lawn chair or blanket, takeout from a local downtown restaurant, and your friends and family.
08/07: Mayor’s Cup
Saturday @ 8:00 am – 1:00 pm, Herndon-Sage Park
City of Mobile Parks and Recreation presents an athletic showcase. Run, jump, or flip on over to participate in our fun exciting activities.
