IN THIS WEEK’S RUNDOWN – Grammy Awards, Jazz, and Pizza

Heads up world savers.

The City of Mobile’s recycling drop-off centers at 4851 Museum Drive and 310 Pinehill Drive are closed until further notice. We’re awaiting reopening updates from the Emerald Coast Utilities Authority.

Also, Mobile County School Board approved the sale of the former Mae Eanes Middle School campus to the City to be used as a potential location for future affordable housing options. Oh wow! this will include 94 units in the first phase to expand affordable housing options in our community. I can’t wait for this project to finish.

Did you guys catch the 63rd Grammy Awards? We feel so proud of our very own Songwriter and producer Rogest Carstraphen Junior, also known as Rosco.

Rosco took home a Grammy for his work as co-producer on Jonathan McReynolds “Movin’ On,” which won Best Gospel Performance/Song.

This happened after said patient received their second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.
