28 more weeks and we’re facing another new year, Mobile. Let’s check out what’s new for the community.
For the people in the area of Dauphin Island Parkway, a new police precinct will rise in the area, soon it will be the headquarters for the Mobile Police Department’s First Precinct.
The city says they should have construction and renovations complete by the end of the year. That’s great news to keep the citizens safe.
It’s not just the police that are on the move to keeping us extra safe, it’s our fire department as well.
In the coming weeks, the Mobile Fire-Rescue Department is launching a “Smoke Alarm Blitz” — This aims to keep the community safe from fire-related accidents.
MFRD is offering smoke alarms and installation to all Mobilians AT NO COST. Nice!
