Fuse Project is an Alabama-based non-profit organization that aims to help children throughout Alabama’s Gulf Coast.
They help ignite ideas, raise money and put them into projects.
A joint effort between Fuse Project and The Historic Avenue Foundation aims to improve children’s health, fitness, and education.
Fuse Project raised more than $2 million for 49 high-impact community initiatives since its beginning in 2012.
When it launched the Order of Fuse in 2015, diverse young professionals gathered to give back to their communities.
Fuse Project saw a need in their community for a space that organizations could utilize jointly to broaden their reach.
These non-profits can lower their operating costs and better serve their objective.
It provides space at a considerable discount and provides common facilities.
Their annual fundraising event, Light the Fuse, encourages the community and raises awareness for their mission.
It lasts for a week with a series of public and private events and fundraising challenges.
Fuse Factory, a co-working facility located in the center of downtown Mobile, is another service by Fuse Project.
Private offices and shared workspaces are both available through Fuse Factory.
Organizations can also rent out these venues for business events.
They will need to schedule a visit to check the place out themselves.
For the “The Avenue” neighborhood in downtown Mobile, the Historic Avenue Foundation serves as a community quarterback to implement the Purpose Built Communities approach.
They work together to bridge the opportunity gaps in their community so everyone will have a better future.
