The 47th Annual Grand Bay Watermelon Festival, held on July 3, 2021 (since July 4th fell on Sunday) was a huge success. Plans are underway for our 48th Annual Grand Bay Watermelon Festival, which will go back to our previous schedule of half day on July 3rd, from 3 to 7 pm and full day on July 4th but with new hours, from 10 am to 6 pm. Again, on the 3rd we will have vendors, rides, and entertainment, along with a Non-Denominational Worship Service to start around 6 pm (but no watermelon yet). On the 4th, in addition to our vendors, rides, and entertainment, we will have all the free, sliced, ice cold, sweet Grand Bay watermelon you can eat, provided by Sessions Farm market, a car show, and of course our Pretty Baby Contest.
