U.S. Premiere

Celebrated mandolin player Avi Avital performs the U.S. premiere of Jennifer Higdon’s Mandolin Concerto, commissioned jointly by the Mobile Symphony, Munich Philharmonic and Chicago Philharmonic.
Saturday, November 13 at 7:30 p.m., and Sunday, November 14 at 2:30 p.m. at the Saenger.
Tickets are $20, $25, $33, $45, $65 and $89 and can be purchased online at www.mobilesymphony.org, by phone at 251-432-2010, or at the symphony box office, 257 Dauphin Street. Tickets are not available at the Saenger box office. Student tickets are $10. Through the MSO Big Red Ticket program sponsored by Alabama Power, students in grades K-12 can attend the Sunday performance free when accompanied by a paying adult.
