MOVIES IN THE PARK: DISNEY’S THE LION KING
April 18 @ 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm
The City of Mobile Parks & Recreation Department is set to host the next Movies in the Park event on Friday, April 18, 2025, from 6 to 9 p.m. at Heroes Park. The featured film for the evening will be Disney’s The Lion King.
Prior to the movie screening at dusk, guests can enjoy African dance performances by youth dance teams Mobile Royal Heat and R.O.Y.A.L. IMPRINT, with Mr. Wayne Curtis of the Mobile Alabama Africatown Drummers providing vibrant rhythms to set the tone. This free, family-friendly event will also include lawn games, face painting, popcorn, and more for all to enjoy.
