Family Day
March 15 @ 10:00 am – 1:00 pm
The City of Mobile invites the community to celebrate spring at the first Family Day event on March 15 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Lavretta Park. Attendees can enjoy music from DJ Walk, a performance by the Zuraka Belly Dancers of Mobile, a vibrant color toss, and family-friendly craft activities. Additionally, a variety of food trucks and local artisan vendors will be on-site.
Color packets will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Participants are encouraged to wear white attire to fully experience the color toss and may want to bring sunglasses for eye protection.
Event Schedule:
- 10:00 a.m. – Event begins
- 10:30 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. – Zuraka Belly Dancers of Mobile performance
- 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. – Color toss
- 1:00 p.m. – Event concludes
