Dauphin Island`s Sunset Bridge 5K and 4-Mile

June 21 @ 6:30 pm - 9:00 pm

Join us for this unique opportunity to run to the top of the Dauphin Island Bridge, have your photo taken at the apex, and enjoy a celebration of the longest day of the year – the summer solstice. Event gates will open at 5 PM for packet pick-up, day of registration and to enjoy the food and music. Food trucks will have food available for sale for those not registered to run/walk the Bridge. The race will begin at 6:30 PM. Sunset will be at 7:58 PM. Festivities will continue until 9 PM. Benefits: Dauphin Island & the Villages of South Mobile County Organized by: South Mobile County Tourism Authority Location: Event headquarters at Dauphin Island Deep Sea Fishing Rodeo Site – 531 Lemoyne Drive, Dauphin Island, AL 36528 The Course: Out and back 4.5-mile course is an out and back course from the Deep Sea Fishing Rodeo Site to the apex of the Dauphin Island Bridge. The course showcases the natural channel followed by the Gulf Intracoastal Waterway. The views will be spectacular. T-Shirts: If you want a race shirt, register by Tuesday, June 13, 2023. No shirts will be ordered after the registration cutoff. Race Day Packet Pick-up and Registration: Packet pick-up and race day registration will take place at the Alabama Deep Sea Fishing Rodeo Site from 4:30 PM – 6:15 PM. Awards: Top male and female Overall, Masters, Grandmasters, Senior Grandmasters, and Race Walker. Top two male and female in age groups: 9 and under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, and 75-99. Post-Race Party: Live music, food trucks, cold beverages, awards, fire dancers and a light show – all to celebrate the longest day of the year.
