Creativity Connects Community Film Series

Join the Mobile Public Library’s “Creativity Creates Community” Film Series this July on Tuesdays at 10 am. Screenings will be held in Bernheim Hall at the Ben May Main Library. This event is free to the public. July 25th Art of the Game: Ukiyo-e Heroes (2017) The traditional art of Ukiyo-e is used to make wood block prints of contemporary video game characters. Meet the community of artists and craftsmen it takes to create prints through the ancient Japanese art, including master carvers, Japanese handmade paper craftsmen, traditional tool makers, and the digital artist/designer.
