This class is specifically designed for those looking to elevate their botanical art and drawing skills or continue exploring the world of botanical art using colored pencils.
Students will advance through accurate observation and the fundamentals of proportional drawing techniques, leading to a deeper understanding of working with color and colored pencils. A step-by-step process will help students fully grasp the application of color and color blending, whether using colored pencils or watercolor. As the class progresses, each student will draw plant specimens while learning to apply color to various hot press papers, with an emphasis on understanding structure, surface texture, and color perspective.
