Charlie Starr, vocalist and lead guitarist of Blackberry Smoke, began crafting the band’s new album, Be Right Here, with the song “Dig A Hole.” The track, built from an old guitar riff combined with a Wurlitzer chorus riff by keyboardist Brandon Still, delivers a swampy, psychedelic-rock sound. It offers a compelling message about life’s choices, exploring the tension between succumbing to temptation and pursuing a more virtuous path.
