Behind-the-Scenes Collection Tour

The History Museum of Mobile invites you to join its curators for a behind-the-scenes look at their extensive collection. This exclusive tour offers a glimpse inside the vault, revealing how curators meticulously care for over 117,000 objects. Attendees will have the unique opportunity to see items that have never been displayed before, including the oldest artifacts in the collection.
During this informative tour, curators will discuss the specific environmental, handling, and housing requirements needed to prevent damage and ensure the preservation of these valuable objects. This ensures their safekeeping for current and future generations.
These special one-hour tours are free for members, $20 for adults (18+), and $15 for youth (8-17). Tours are available at two times on each scheduled date: 10:30 AM and 5:30 PM. Tickets must be purchased online in advance.
