A nonstop flight from Mobile to Florida is currently in the works!
The newest airport on the Gulf Coast, Mobile International(BFM), is getting a direct route to Orlando International Airport thanks to the efforts of Avelo Airlines.
You can start enjoying this service on May 31st, so mark your calendars. One-way tickets will start at $29 for this new route’s launch.
Yes, you read that right. Maybe this is your sign to finally take the kids to Disney World.
This new route is a massive step for Mobile International Airport.
It’s pretty great to be able to travel out of Downtown again, and the new, low-cost flights to Orlando will do wonders for our standard of living.
Needless to say, we’re excited to have the first Avelo in the Northern Gulf region.
This is a step in the right direction toward our ultimate goal of moving all commercial air services to Downtown.
Avelo is a welcome addition because all their flights are nonstop. They don’t charge their customers extra fees if they need to change their bookings or cancel altogether.
