All aboard!
The Carnival “Spirit” has made its grand return at our good ol’ 19-year-old Alabama Cruise Terminal.
This isn’t just any ship, folks.
It’s the largest vessel to depart from Mobile!
After making us tap our feet for an entire year, the Spirit’s finally setting sail, and it’s packed with cool stuff.
Imagine waking up in one of those 630 balcony cabins, stretching out, and thinking, “This is the life!”
Got kids, or still a kid at heart?
Dive into that water park!
Or, if you’re more about chilling, there’s always the spa, the lounges, and lots of dining options.
Our own Brooks and his lovely wife, Mandee, are no strangers to this cruise magic.
They’ve hopped on a few times and swear by it.
“It’s the perfect getaway, right from our backyard!” he gushed.
No long drives, no flight fuss—just pure, unadulterated vacation vibes.
Mayor Stimpson is definitely all smiles about it.
More ships means more fun for us and cha-ching for Mobile’s piggy bank.
It means more folks dining, shopping, and crashing at our hotels.
The city bigwigs and Carnival Cruise Line have sealed a 5-year deal, so Downtown businesses are getting geared up.
Word of the street is that this cruise game gives Mobile a cool 35,000 room nights every year.
The vision is to pack the Spirit to the brim, welcome even more giant ships, and keep that party going all year.
And after shaking off the pandemic blues, everyone’s eager to set sail.
Mobile’s pitch? Hop on a cruise!
