The University of South Alabama’s Kappa Alpha fraternity donated an all-terrain track chair to Gulf State Park, enhancing access for people with mobility challenges.

The First Baptist Church of Silverhill celebrated 125 years, marking over a century of faith, unity, and community service. 

Founded as a Swedish church, it remains a place of fellowship and unwavering support for locals from all walks of life.

Mobile is planning a $300 million Civic Center arena upgrade, with construction beginning in 2025, set to boost local entertainment. 

Additionally, new park upgrades, including a splash pad, playground equipment, and dugout improvements, will enhance community spaces for residents.

Spanish Fort is investing millions to enhance parks, adding soccer fields, basketball courts, and its first dog park, with two new waterfront parks also planned.

South Alabama athletes teamed up with a Mobile McDonald’s to raise funds for the Ronald McDonald House, which offers free lodging for families with hospitalized children.
