4/10: Serve It Up With Love:
Mobile Tennis Center, 851 Gaillard Dr: The 9th Annual Serve It Up With Love Tennis Tournament welcome you to come on out and support a Great Tournament in our Community that benefits the Mobile Child Advocacy Center. The money raised helps fund services for abused children in our community.
4/10: Little Black Dress:
Fort Whiting Auditorium: Mercedez Benz of Mobile presents the 5th annual Little Black Dress “LBD No. 5,” a fast-paced New York styled runway show and cocktail party benefiting Mobile’s “House That Love Built” – Ronald McDonald House. The event features 50 runway McModels who are local women sponsored by local area businesses and individuals modeling fashions by Dillard’s. Don’t miss out!
04/11-04/13: South Sounds Music Festival:
Downtown Mobile: Located in multiple venues, this is the first music festival in the country to specifically focus on showcasing Southern Band talent. Their goal is to bring great Southern music to Mobile and to expose locals to new music and venues that they may not already know about.
4/11: Windmill Market Brown Bag Series:
Windmill Market, 85 N Bancroft Street: From 11:30 am to 1:30 PM enjoy The Brown Bag series of free lunchtime concerts! Grad your lunch and listen to some great tunes while getting some Vitamin D!
4/11-04/13: Mobile’s ArtWalk and Arts Alive Weekend:
Downtown LoDa: Exhibitions with receptions and entertainment in a variety of downtown galleries and other venues will be lining the LoDa Arts District (LOwer DAuphin St) from 6 – 9 PM on Friday. Saturday and Sunday will also be packed with written, visual, and performing artists from all over the region.
4/12: Breakfast with the Easter Bunny:
Bellingrath Gardens and Home: Join the hunt, activities and of course the Easter Bunny at the Magnolia Cafe. There will be two seatings; the first seating will be at 8:30 AM and the second seating will be at 9:00 AM. The Cafe staff will be prepare and serve pancakes, sausage patties, and yummy fruit. Reservations encouraged + don’t forget to grab a photo with the Easter Bunny!
4/12: Easter Bunny in Downtown Fairhope:
Fairhope Welcome Center: The Easter bunny will be visiting Fairhope! The bunny will be in front of the Fairhope Welcome Center in downtown Fairhope from 10:00am until 12:00 p.m. for children to visit. Parents may bring their cameras to take pictures. Don’t miss this cute bunny!
4/12: 4th Annual Erin Go PawFest:
Callaghan’s Irish Social Club: Bring your 4 legged friend for a great day of fun and music to raise money for the Friends of Mobile Animal Shelter! Music by Julie Anne & PEEK! And don’t forget to register for the Green Dress Run for Shelter 5K! Run @ 2pm + street party @ 3pm!
Fairhope Civic Center, 161 N Section St, Fairhope: Bay Shore Ballet Theatre presents a special narrated cameo performance of Cinderella! Janet Carole, artistic director and former principal ballerina with Les Grands Ballets Canadiens in Montreal, The Oakland Ballet and the Pennsylvania Ballet, resets this story with more than 60 dancers from Fairhope and the surrounding Bay area cities. Show times are 2 PM & 7:30 PM.
4/12: St. Jude Memphis to Mobile Run:
Moe’s BBQ Downtown Mobile: This relay style run will begin the run in Memphis on 4/9 and then arrive in Mobile on 4/12 at 12 PM at Moe’s BBQ! All money raised goes directly to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital to help find cures for childhood cancers. Looking to run? Sign up now!
Upcoming Events: 5/31: Grandman Triathlon:
Fairhope Municipal Pier and Park: The event begins with a 1/3 mile swim straight out into picturesque Mobile Bay and back beside the Fairhope Municipal Pier. After the swim comes a 18 mile bike ride through the charming city of Fairhope. The ride begins with one steep hill and five miles of rolling countryside. The race to the finish line begins with a 3.1 mile run through the streets of Fairhope and along the Bay.
