May 15: Ross +1 @ Blue Gill

May 15: Brown Bag in Bienville
Downtown Mobile: Come out and listen to the soothing sounds of live jazz from Skidmore/Foster as you lunch in Bienville Square around the historic Ketchum Fountain.

May 16:  9th Annual Mudbugs in the Swamp
One of the PRIMO crawfish boils in town. The ACS Jr Advisory Board will have some cold beer, a silent auction, games, and some great crawfish at the Swamp under Felix’s Fish Camp

May 16 Eastern Shore GO Kickball Finale Party
Daphne: Another season in the books, and it’s time to relive those diving catches, home runs, and that theme week attire over a few brews at Moe’s BBQ.

May 17 The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee
Midtown: It’s time to relive your middle school spelling bee triumphs and failures with this musical comedy at the Mobile Theatre Guild. The play has won 2 Tony Awards, so get your glasses and pocket protectors ready.
Chickasaw: Chickasaw Civic Theatre kicks off its 50th anniversary with a reprise of the classic tale. This 1960 musical brings King Arthur and his famous Knights of the Round Table to life.
May 17 – 19: Hangout Music Festival
Gulf Shores: This year’s impressive lineup includes Kings of Leon, Trey Anastasio Band and Stevie Wonder. Expect to hear hits like “Thrift Shop” by Macklemore and Ryan Lewis, along with “Last Dance with Mary Jane” by headliner Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers. It will be a weekend you’ll not want to miss!
Fairhope: Come out and taste food from over a dozen favorite local restaurants, while Rollin’ in the Hay creates a great atmosphere with live music, all in support of the Weeks Bay Foundation, the only nationally accredited land trust in coastal Alabama meant to protect the natural resources of the coast.
May 18 Casting Call at The Temple:
Downtown: This is your chance to show the world your acting talents during this “Feature Film” casting call. You’ll surely end up rubbing elbows with Brad & Angelina.
Gulf Shores: Head to the Gulf State Park Pavilion for the some great locally grown goodness.

 May 18: Cotton Patch Festival
Good rural fun in the sun in downtown Uriah, AL. Great family event while shopping around for good quality arts and crafts!
