Downtown Mobile, Saenger Theatre: This is the first of a summer series showcasing local entertainment – musicians, artists, athletes, dancers, etc.


June 21:  Midsummer Night’s Dream, Wine Tasting & Art Show
Mobile, Episcopal Church of the Redeemer:  Wine Tasting event with food and showcasing local artists’ work.

 June 22: Carlin’s Courage 5k Run/Walk
Bay Minette, Kids Park: All proceeds go to the Davis family to support Carlin’s hard fight against cancer.  Click above to read her story.

 June 22 – Wiffle Ball Tournament
Downtown Mobile, O’Daly’s: They’re taking us back.  Wayyy Back.  There will be a ‘best uniform contest’ and yes, there will be a home run derby competition.


June 22: Market in the Square
Downtown Mobile, Cathedral Square:  If you’re not growing it yourself, this is a great way to do the next best thing – Buy Local.

June 22 – MOB Down by the Bay Ride
Downtown Mobile, Cream and Sugar:  Summer riding time starts at 7am – bring plenty of water – enjoy some ice cream after (we know, it defeats the purpose).

June 23: Ghost Chili Cajun Crawfish Challenge
Downtown Mobile, Alabama Music Box: The hottest cultivated pepper, known as the ghost chili, will be used in this event (I hope they have waivers ready to be signed?) to crown the champ.

Downtown Mobile, Boo Radley’s:  Josh is only 2 and has already had his 3rd open heart surgery.  We can’t begin to imagine.  $10 donation at the door.  Unlimited crawfish.

June 24:  Mojo Jazz Jambalaya
Downtown Mobile, Gulf City Lodge:  Listen to the Jazz of The Great Hardbop Quintet, hang in a 100 year old establishment, enjoy some jambalaya.
