Mobile, USA Laidlaw Center:  tickets for this spring concert will be sold at the door – $8 for public and $5 for students and faculty.

April 20:  5th Annual Gumbo Cook-off
Downtown Mobile, Bienville Square:  $12 at the gate or $10 in advance, you get to take care of lunch at this Red Cross Fundraiser.

April 20:  Memphis to Mobile Run for St. Jude
Downtown Mobile:  Be on the lookout for runners running down Springhill Ave as they end at their final destination of Moe’s BBQ.  Good work folks!

April 20:  The Mobile Symphony – The Music of Queen
Downtown Mobile, Saenger Theatre:  Are you ready to get rocked?  Cause they will, they wil.

April 21:  Earth Day Sunday Funday
Downtown Mobile, Alchemy Tavern:  The goal is the be the greenest bar on the Gulf Coast.  Can crushers, local beer, and recycle bins are all a part of the plan.

April 21:  5k for St. Jude’s Hospital
Theodore, Bellingrath Gardens:  If you can’t run on Saturdays, no excuses.  Here’s a Sunday Funday race for a great cause.

Downtown Mobile, Gulf City Lodge:  Listen to Jazz and Learn about the performers, hang in a 100 year old establishment, enjoy some jambalaya.

April 25: Elvis Lives
Downtown Mobile, Civic Center:  Are you one of those that still believes?  Well, go and enjoy his presence and carry on the legacy.

Upcoming, April 28: PharmaFit 5k
Mobile, USA Campus: Tons of race bag goodies and after-race tropical smoothies.  Proceeds going to benefit American Heart Association.
