January 12: Dauphin Island Parade
Dauphin Island: Parade with Krewe de la Dauphine.  Some folks are into sand and moonpies.

January 13: The Winter Jam
Mobile, The Mitchell Center:  No advanced tickets needed, just $10 at the door – but come early as people will get turned away!

January 13: First Light Marathon
Downtown Mobile: Boston Marathon qualifier race, also a half marathon starting at 2pm – New Years Resolution Time!

January 14: Kopecky Family Band with the Eastern Sea
Downtown Mobile, Soul Kitchen:  6 piece band forming in Nashville and creating music since 2007.

Moe’s in Mobile: We got word that there is a new place for lip-smacking BBQ and it’s Downtown! Lots of room for live music, too. More event details coming soon.
