October 30-November 3: The Greater Gulf State Fair:
The Grounds: At this year’s fair, get Color Bombed with Color Me Rad, see the Animal Planet’s Gator Boys in action with live Gator Wrestling, and don’t miss the PCA Rodeo!

10/31: The Rocky Horror Show:
Mobile Theatre Guild: This musical comedy by Richard O’Brien is a humorous tribute to the science fiction and horror B movies of the late 1940s through early 1970s. Great show to watch on Halloweeeeeen!

11/1: First Friday Artwalk:
Downtown Fairhope: Exhibit openings–with guest artists, refreshments and live entertainment – at a variety of venues; map of participating venues, including specialty shops and restaurants.

 11/1-11/3: Alabama Pecan Festival:
Tillman’s Corner Community Center: Looking for a great festival to go to? This is it! Carnival rides, food, arts and crafts, jewelry shopping, face painting, country and gospel music. Oh, and don’t forget to try the pe-cans!

11/1-11/27: Cuts for a Cause:
Remington College School of Cosmetology: RCSC is holding “Cuts for Cause” event to collect food for needy families. Here’s how it works: bring in a can of food or other non-perishable food donation in November & get a complimentary haircut, manicure, or pedicure! Awesome!

11/2: Baldwin Bicycle Fest:
Foley Heritage Park: The Baldwin Bicycle Fest will feature the 16, 28, 71 mile cycling rides of the original Tour de Foley, & include family oriented activities to promote cycling for recreation and transportation! Family Fun Event!

11/2: 15 Years of Science Downtown:
Gulf Coast Exploreum Science Center: Join the Exploreum as it celebrates over 30 years of igniting and inspiring curiosity and ingenuity in the sciences AND 15 years downtown! Cool door prizes and sampling of decadent desserts from Mobile’s finest bakers is also in store!

 11/2: The Salty Worm Fishing Tournament and Delta Bash:
Bluegill: The Salty Worm Fishing Tournament and Delta Bash will be held at the Bluegill on Saturday, November 2, from 1:00 to 5:00. Come out for music, seafood buffet, activities for the kids and prizes for the anglers. Proceeds will benefit the Gaillard Pancreatic Cancer Research Endowment at the Mitchell Cancer Institute.

Dauphin Island Sea Lab: Alabama Oyster Bar, Craft Beer, Moonshine Tasting, live music, dancing under the stars AND celebrity chefs from Food Network, Great American Seafood Cookoff, and James Bear Award Semi-Finalist – this event is going to be great!

Country Club of Mobile:The 6th annual Sunday Night Sensation benefits the Distinguished Young Women scholarship program and promises to be an elegant dining experience featuring guest chef Fillippo Milone, local celebrity servers, a live auction & live entertainment.
