October 16-19: Fairhope Fête:
Downtown Fairhope: A weeklong global fashion extravaganza! Enjoy wide range of trunk shows that feature local retailers as well as nationally recognized brands for first glance at the latest fall fashion trends.  Proceeds  benefit Point Clear Charities, Inc., which sponsors Polo at the Point.

October 17: ART Works: The Throwdown
Mobile Arts Council, Downtown: Don’t miss this throwdown! 5 artists will be given a box with pre-selected unknown items, a shared supply closet & 90 mins to create 5 new works of art!  The art will be auctioned live! All proceeds go to support MAC!

Playhouse-In-the Park, 4851 Museum Drive: A play by Thomas Lakeman, based on the novel by Bram Stoker, this performance promises to be a thrilling event!

October 17: Mobile SPCA Fish Fry:
Our Savior Catholic Church, Mobile: Enjoy catfish fillets & homemade dessert while listening to live toe-tapping music by The String Slingers! All proceeds benefit the Mobile SPCA pet adoption program.

October 17: 7th Annual Wine Festival at 5 Rivers:
5 Rivers Delta Resource Center: Enjoy a wide selection of wine & food, a sunset cruise on the Delta & live music from local favorite Phil Proctor, all while supporting The Catholic Social Services’ charitable work throughout the Mobile area.

October 18-19: The 6th Annual Baytowne Wharf Beer Festival:
Destin, Florida:  Calling all beer novices to beer lovers! The “Best Beer Fest on the Emerald Coast” is featuring 40 on-site craft brewers, over 100 domestic and international beers, & you’ll get the chance to sample seasonal and not-yet-released beers!

October 19th- The Village of Spring Hill’s Screen on the Green:
Lavretta Park, Spring Hill: The 2nd featured movie this week is E.T. The Extra Terrestrial! Don’t forget to bring your best carved pumpkin for a chance to win a  6 x 9 inflatable movie screen!

Downtown Mobile, Bienville Square: This 3 mile walk has breakfast/lunch, children’s activities, music and more. All funds help American Diabetes Association in its mission to raise awareness, educate &  find a cure.
