July 31: Drink & Draw:
FOS Comics, Azalea Rd:  6+ comic artists from the Mobile area will create spontaneous pieces right before your eyes! Then you can buy your favorite artwork created! Starts at 7PM.

July 31: Student Jazz Camp:
Mobile, History Museum of Mobile:  Jazz Camp for ages 8 through 18 this Wednesday.  Oh yeah, and it’s Free.

August 1: Family Game Night:
Saraland, Public Library: What activity, task, or game most brings out your competitive streak? Come out to Family Game Night for a night of fun and friendly competition. Oh, and it’s free!

August 1: It’s a Small World & I Have a Dream:
Downtown, Mobile Arts Council: Come view three exciting exhibits including works by community members depicting their dreams for Mobile!  Free event!

August 1: Glass with Class:
Mobile, 300 Oakleigh Place:  Enjoy wine and food while learning how to paint your own wine glass. Class starts at 6:30, Tickets are $25.

August 2 – August 11:  Oliver! The Musical:
Mobile, Playhouse in the Park:  Over 100 actors take part in this classic musical that’s game for all ages.  Shows are on Friday, Saturday, and Sundays.  Reservations Recommended.

August 2: Bienville Square Jazzbag:
Downtown Mobile, Bienville Square: 2013 Gulf Coast Ethnic & Heritage Jazz Festival described as “one of the finest & most original” begins at noon. This contemporary pop-jazz fusion is Free!

August 2: First Friday Artwalk:
Downtown Fairhope, Eastern Shore Art Center:  Be one of the first to see the exhibit openings while enjoying refreshments & live entertainment. Be sure to check out the participating venues!

August 3: Comedy Whatever:
Mobile, St. Alchemy Tavern: Need a good laugh?  Comedians from Atlanta and Mobile are teaming up to bring you some rumbling in your belly.  For 21+, tickets $5. Starts at 10 PM.

Mobile, Little Flower Church:  Hone in on your running and biking skills by participating in this 5k dash and 10 mile bike ride! All for a good cause. Proceeds benefit Little Flower Church.

August 6: Chicken With Plums:
Mobile, Ben May Public LIbrary: The Foreign Film Festival kicks off with the viewing of a 2011 French comedy/drama at 6 PM. Rating: PG-13. And it’s free!

August 6: Auditions for Annie, Jr:
Fairhope, Eastern Shore Repertory Theatre: Calling all 3rd to 12th graders plus 1st and 2nd grade girls! Performances will begin on October 31st to November 2nd!

August 7: The Last Reef: Cities Beneath the Sea:
Downtown Mobile, Gulf Coast Exploreum Science Center: This IMAX film is receiving raving reviews! Grab a friend and discover “The Last Reef”! Check website for viewing times.
