November 7: Putt for Mutts:
Funtasia, Girby Road: Join Mobile SPCA for an evening of fun in the 2nd annual miniature golf tournament. All ages are welcome & all money raised will be used to care for the homeless animals.
November 7: Mobile Baykeeper’s Annual Bay Bash:
Five Rivers Delta Resource Center: This annual event showcases the bounty of the Bay through the culinary expertise of our local restaurants, great music, adult beverages & beautiful setting of the Mobile Tensaw Delta. The theme this year is “Don’t Trash our Bay!” All proceeds go to Mobile Baykeeper.
November 7: Taste of Mobile:
Mobile Convention Center: The 36th Annual Taste of Mobile showcases area restaurants, with more than 40 booths participating. Each attendee has the opportunity to sample many of the finest dishes available in Mobile. Attendees will also be able to vote for their favorite dishes in various categories.
November 7 – 10: 2013 Fairhope Film Festival:
Downtown Fairhope: This year’s theme is the “best of the best,” they really are the best! The 2013 Fairhope Film Festival offers 40 unique films over 4 days at 4 walkable venues in scenic downtown Fairhope. Great family fun.
November 8: LoDa Artwalk:
Downtown Mobile: Join downtown art galleries, institutions, studios and unique shops as they open their doors and welcome you inside to see beautiful artwork, sample delicious foods and hear the sounds of the LoDa Artwalk.
November 8-24: Legally Blonde: The Musical:
The Joe Jefferson Playhouse: Based on the hit movie, Legally Blonde: The Musical is a fun-filled musical full of great characters and catchy songs.
November 9: Fall Market on the Square:
Cathedral Square: The fall harvest is in, so come and get your fresh greens, fall corn, squash, peppers, sweet potatoes and much more. Also shop for locally produced goods like handmade candles, soaps, and pottery.
November 9-10: BayBears Backyard BBQ:
Hank Aaron Stadium:The best amateur cooks will battle it out over BBQ ribs, chicken & Boston butt! Teams will be judged by Fox 10 personalities along with other local media. The event includes free samples, an arts and crafts fair, a classic car show and much more!
November 9: Mamma Mia Cook-Off:
City Hall Lawn, Daphne: Amateur and professional chefs compete in one of four categories: carne (beef), pollo (chicken), senza carne (meatless) and frutti di mare (seafood). All proceeds go to Supporting Educational Enrichment in Daphne’s Schools (SEEDS).
November 9: Beethoven & Blue Jeans:
The Saenger Theatre: Guests are encouraged to wear their favorite jeans to Mobile Symphony’s popular Blue Jeans concert. The performance, conducted by the beloved Scott Speck, will consist of melodic depictions of the sea and include Beethoven’s famous “Leonore Overture” and other beautiful pieces.
November 11: Veterans Day Parade:
Downtown Mobile: Celebrate Veterans in this annual parade that travels along Government Street in downtown, featuring veterans’ groups, active duty units, Reserve and National Guard units, ROTC and JROTC units, Scouts and marching bands.
November 14-16: GreekFest:
The Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, Midtown Mobile: Experience Greek food, crafts, dancing and other live entertainment. Always a great event, you’ll not want to miss it!
