It’s a great way to spread holiday cheer, get to know the community and be a part of the Salvation Army’s mission to ‘Do the Most Good’ this Christmas season. NOW – 1/1: Christmas Nights of Lights
Nightly – 5:30 – 10 pm, Hank Aaron Stadium
Admission: $6 per person, Free for children 3 and under

Christmas Nights of Lights is one of the most amazing drive-thru Christmas light shows you will ever experience! Over 1 million LED lights, driven by over 10,000 computer channels, synchronized to both traditional and new rocking Christmas music playing through your car radio. Pack your vehicle full of friends and family to enjoy the show as you begin a new Christmas tradition!

12/6: “A Christmas Carol”
Wednesday – 7:30 pm, Saenger Theater

On Wednesday, December 6th, Mobile’s Playhouse in the Park will present ONE public performance of their original “A Christmas Carol – The Musical.” All ages will enjoy this magical show set in Victorian-age England during the Christmas season. The production is filled with music, dancing, and colorful characters such as Ebenezer Scrooge, Jacob Marley, Tiny Tim, the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present, and Future, and the fun-loving Fezziwigs!

12/7: Shoe Station – December Senior Day

Shoe Station wants to say thank you to all customers ages 55 and up on Thursday, December 7, by offering a special discount of 20% off ALMOST EVERYTHING IN STORE! This includes shoes, t-shirts, shorts, socks, handbags and accessories — some exclusions apply. 12/8: Elfapalooza

It’s time to break the Guinness Book World Record for “the most Santa’s elves in a single location!” Everyone is invited to take part. To officially qualify as an elf, you must wear pointy ears, a pointy hat, and a combination of red and green clothing. Gates open at 5:30 pm and official counting will take place at 7 pm. Put on your Elfin wear and join in! Stay for a free showing of Elf in Bienville Square at 7:30 pm.

12/8: LoDa ArtWalk
Friday – 6 – 9 pm, Downtown Mobile
Admission: Free

If joining in on Elfapalooza wasn’t enough to get you Downtown this Friday night, then come join the rest of Mobile at ArtWalk! The LoDa ArtWalk is held the second Friday of each month along Lower Dauphin St. Enjoy shopping local artists, makers, crafters, bakers and more! Restaurants, bars, galleries, and boutiques are all open late for the event.

12/8: Mobile Baykeeper’s 20th Anniversary Bay Bash
Friday – 6 – 9:30 pm, GulfQuest Maritime Museum
Admission: $75 per person, $125 per couple
Ages: 21+
Join Mobile Baykeeper to “Light up the Bay” as they celebrate 20 years of protecting the Mobile Bay Watershed and our coastal communities. Enjoy an evening of delicious food and cocktails, live music by popular local talent “Gulf Coast Blues Boy” Jamell Richardson, guest speaker Marc Yaggi (Executive Director of Waterkeeper Alliance), a silent auction, and special fireworks show on the Mobile River to conclude the evening.
