September 4: Brown Bag in Bienville:
Downtown Mobile, Bienville Square:  Enjoy our beautiful fall weather with your lunch in Mobile’s beautiful Bienville Square.  Every Wednesday through October 30.

September 5: GO Kickball Appreciation Night:
Moe’s BBQ in Mobile & Daphne: All former and future players can enjoy Penny Beer, Live Music, and Great BBQ!

September 5: Stone Brewing Co. Launch Party:
Downtown Mobile, Alchemy Tavern:  Stone Brewery Rep will be in town and talking beer.  Approximately a dozen beers will be on tap for this launch.

September 5: 15th Annual Chef Challenge:
Mobile, Five Rivers Delta Resource Center:  Enjoy live music by Roman Street while sampling foods from the area’s top local chefs.  All proceeds will go to work in our local area.

September 5: Special Event, the Music of John Cage:
Mobile, USA, Laidlaw Center:  2 Percussion Teams and USA dance team will come together to present a narrated concert with the music of John Cage.

September 6-22:  Noises Off:
Mobile, Joe Jefferson Players Theater:  Come and be a part of Noises Off, a comedy where everyone gets caught in the act.

September 6: First Friday Artwalk:
Downtown Fairhope, Eastern Shore Art Center:  Be one of the first to see the exhibit openings while enjoying refreshments & live entertainment. Be sure to check out the participating venues!

September 6-22: Les Miserables:
Chickasaw Civic Theater:  Local theater company in Chickasaw that’s been around for 50 years is putting together several shows of Les Mis in September.

September 7:  Annual Sickle Cellebration Tennis Tournament:
Mobile, Lyons Park:  Tennis Tournament fundraising for sickle cell patients and raising awareness.  Singles, Doubles, Youth, Men, Women, you name it.

September 7: The Laugh Out Loud Comedy Explosion:
Downtown Mobile, Saenger Theatre:  Enjoy the comedy of Eddie Griffin and other guests in the historical Saenger Theatre in Downtown Mobile.  Show starts at 8pm.

September 7: Hurricane Run 5k:
Dauphin Island, Sea Lab:  Run a 5k or .5mi Fun Run all starting from the Dauphin Island Sea Lab.  Register online through September 5th.

September 8: Shave for the Brave:
Navarre, FL:  A bit outside our zone, but a great cause.  Shave your head, donate, or volunteer.  If you send us a picture of your shaved head at the event, someone on our staff will shave too.

September 8:  Live Music:
Mobile, Blue Gill Restaurant:  Touted as one of the best live music venues around, enjoy Sunday music with Dale Drinkard Jr. and then Ugli Stick.  Happy Sunday Afternoon.
